My name is Jennifer Domer. I’m from Manhattan Beach, California. I grew up in LA. After I graduated from the University of Maine, I stuck around the East Coast for 2 years. I lived in Maryland and DC and really enjoyed my time there, but I moved back out to Sacramento in 2012 to go to law school at McGeorge. Once I graduated from McGeorge, I actually moved back out to the East Coast. I moved back to Maryland for a brief time, and then I started doing contract work for Cutter Law, specifically in the area of mass torts, where I then decided to move back to Sacramento, where I loved and enjoyed, and I started working for Cutter Law in 2016.
I specifically practiced in the areas of mass tort, and that encompasses just general personal injury, product liability, pharmaceutical injury, and sexual assault. I have a very relaxed and open approach when I’m speaking with my clients. It’s a way for me to kind of meet them where they are so that they can feel relaxed, open, and comfortable, because the most important part of a case is to have your clients tell you exactly what happened to them. Even though it can be absolutely devastating, if you can build that rapport with them early on, they’ll trust you, and it’ll make their case better.
I actually really enjoy working at Cutter Law because we do have a variety of practice areas and things that are really complicated and intricate. I’ve always been in love with complex civil litigation, and this firm does all of that. I love learning from some of the best and highly educated people in the business who get great verdicts, great results, and it’s been really great because, as part of our firm, we have a really wonderful team. The attorneys are really involved in the hiring process. The team really cares about what they do. We have longevity of people and staff that we work with, and their excitement, passion, and reasons for coming into this field are wonderful, but they end up staying with our firm for a long time, which gives our clients the benefit of having that support through the length of their case, which could be really lengthy.
