Whenever we’re preparing our clients for their deposition, the ultimate goal is for them to become familiar and comfortable with the process so that when they finally do sit in that witness chair, they can just be themselves. They don’t have to worry about regurgitating a whole bunch of lawyer-made-up answers. They can just be themselves and answer the other side’s questions comfortably because they know what to expect. That allows them to convince the other side of the rightfulness of their claim, and the other side sees why it is that they’re going to be held accountable in this case with that client under these facts.
