Chris Wikler is an associate at Cutter Law and is passionate about helping people who’ve been harmed by negligence and corporate indifference.
Chris is driven to make the law work for people who have been forgotten by powerful institutions and unjust systems. He handles serious injury, complex mass tort, and nursing home abuse cases, bringing compassion and unyielding commitment to help injured people find their justice.
Chris earned his J.D. from McGeorge School of Law and graduated in the Order of the Coif, which recognizes the top 10% of each class. During law school, he received awards for legal writing and oral advocacy, including two Moot Court Best Brief awards, and recognition for his research and writing about Tribal water rights in California.
During law school, Chris served as a Judicial Extern for Chief Judge Troy L. Nunley of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of California and as a law clerk at Cutter Law. Before law school, Chris worked for a County Supervisor, advancing criminal justice, public safety, and environmental policies while serving the citizens of central Contra Costa County. He earned his B.A. in International Relations from Tufts University and cut his teeth working on political campaigns in Boston and the Bay Area.
A native of the East Bay and fluent Spanish-speaker, Chris is an avid skier, cyclist, and backpacker, and is most at home in the wild places of Northern California. He is proud to call Sacramento home and can be found paddling on Lake Natoma, riding along the American River Trail, or fixing bikes as a volunteer mechanic at the Sacramento Bike Kitchen.
