Meet Charles B. Stevens, Attorney at Cutter Law P.C.

Video Transcript

I was inspired to become a lawyer after I founded a nonprofit in high school to help kids in foster care. Through that experience, I learned about giving back to the community and what I could do to best help the people around me. I was inspired to go to law school to keep carrying out the mission of helping people. I grew up in Sacramento. I lived here for 18 years. Then I went to law school in LA. Received my law degree from UCLA. I started working at Cutter Law in July 2025 this year. It’s been a great experience. It’s a collaborative approach. I love Cutter Law in that it’s a family operation and a family firm, which carries over to the care and concern for clients as being very familiar and genuine and kind. Generally, I like practicing law because I like representing people. Part of representing people comes with representing their business interests, and sometimes litigation is the best way to achieve the results that they need. When clients come to me, I always focus on exactly what they’re asking me to do and try and focus on the goals that they’re attempting to accomplish above all else. Of course, the client always comes first, but clear communication between the client and myself helps enable us to get the result that they deserve. At the end of the day, I think that the law is one of the best ways that we can contribute through making changes based on what people need.
