A sexual abuse lawsuit, in a civil setting proceeds much like any other lawsuit, in that we prepare a complaint after our investigation, we file in court, and, we proceed into the discovery process. But, one major distinction is that we will often file these lawsuits under a Jane Doe or anonymous name to keep our client’s name private.
