One bicycle case that I had the privilege to take to trial was a case where we had a woman who was a dean of a local college and she was out riding a bike with a friend on a Sunday afternoon and hit a huge pothole in the middle of a poorly maintained road. She had a traumatic brain injury from that which has impacted her life and her career. We took her case to trial and the jury agreed with us that the county should have fixed the road before this crash ever happened. So, they agreed with us that the county was responsible for leaving a dangerous condition there with this huge pothole and that they could have fixed it for very little money. So, they awarded us a verdict of over $7 million for that case.
