Our attorneys operate like a close-knit family. We are all aware of each case and often collaborate. For example, if one of us is especially well-suited to handle a particular oral argument for another attorney’s case, that attorney will jump in and do it. Being members of a close-knit family allows us to collaborate in ways few law firms can. Brooks and his daughters have even rented houses and condos together during trials and worked intensely around the clock to ensure they are prepared each day.

We are able to call each other out when we need to and we’re able to support each other and bring out the best in each other. Only a handful of firms have this kind of family continuity.
How Does Cutter Incorporate Family Into a Case?
We’ve seen that people appreciate that we understand the importance of family. We incorporate the impact on the family when we represent a client who’s severely injured. We make sure to tell the whole story for folks – it’s not just about the one person who was hurt, it’s about the wife, the mom, the father, and the brother. It is really the family’s story.
Brooks Cutter and His Daughters in the Practice
Founding partner Brooks Cutter is the proud father of two attorneys at our firm, Margot Cutter and Celine Cutter.
What I enjoy most about working with my dad is learning from his years of experience and wisdom. I love watching him take a deposition. I’ve learned so much just watching him ask questions and nail down a witness on getting the answer that he needs.
Some of my favorite memories are going to trial with my dad and we rent a condo or house together, and just live and breed the case. We stay up all night working on Powerpoints and it’s really fun because I’m grown up and I have a family so I don’t get to live with my dad anymore, but it’s fun to have these little intense times when we go to trial and we’re together 24/7.
