We recommend that you do not give a statement to the other driver’s insurance company. There’s no real upside to it. We would prefer that you retain counsel first. I think that’s better advice.
Let your counsel represent you in dealing with that other insurance company about your injuries. Their questioning can be misleading and incomplete. We don’t recommend that you give a recorded statement about either the accident or your injuries to the insurance company for the other driver.
