I’m in a unique position working in mass torts because we do represent so many people, but that actually exposes me to clients from various backgrounds and socioeconomic classes. It’s really incredible to hear their life stories and to see the kinds of injuries they’re actually experiencing.
The type of trauma they go through really highlights both how connected we are and how our differences shape our experiences. Being able to reach a successful resolution is probably the most rewarding part of the job—especially when you get to wrap up a case and know that you’ve helped a large subset of the population who have all been affected in the same way.
