We encourage people who’ve had a problem with their Uber or Lyft driver to make a complaint through the app to Uber or Lyft, and to call an attorney.
The reason we want you to report it in the app is because that alerts the company to take action—they’ll know they have a problematic driver on the platform, and they’re the ones who can stop them from doing this to another victim right away.
But you still need to call an attorney to help you ultimately hold the company accountable.
